The standard privacy notice Venued provides for event organisers, and what buyers are shown at checkout when an organiser adopts it.
ORGANIZER POLICY
Venued publishes this standard privacy notice for event organisers.
An organiser may adopt this notice as their own in their business settings. When they do, this is the notice shown to buyers at checkout for that organiser's events, and the organiser is responsible for it.
An organiser may instead publish their own privacy policy. Where they do, their own policy is shown at checkout in place of this notice.
Where an organiser has chosen neither their own policy nor this standard notice, the checkout tells buyers that the organiser is legally responsible for explaining how their personal information is collected and used, and asks them to contact the organiser directly.
The standard notice reads:
The Organizer will process your data for event administration. If you explicitly opt in, the Organizer may also send you marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time.
