Child Safety Standards
VENUED CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS
Version: 1.0
Effective Date: 25.05.2026
Venued is committed to the safety and well-being of all users, and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind on our platform.
1. OUR STANDARDS
1.1 Minimum age. Venued is intended for users aged 18 and over. Account creation requires the user to provide their date of birth, and any user identified as under 18 is prevented from registering. Every sign-up also requires SMS verification of a working phone number.
1.2 Prohibited content. We strictly prohibit any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming behaviour, solicitation, and the impersonation of a minor.
1.3 In-app reporting. Every user profile and every event in Venued can be reported directly from the app, and each report sheet includes a dedicated "Child safety concern (suspected minor)" category. Reports submitted in that category are flagged with the highest internal priority and reviewed promptly.
1.4 Enforcement. Accounts found to have produced, shared, or solicited CSAM are permanently banned and all associated content is removed. As a provider established in Germany, we report confirmed cases to the German Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt, BKA) and, where appropriate, to the State Criminal Police Office (Landeskriminalamt Bayern) and the Bavarian Central Office for the Prosecution of Cybercrime (ZCB) at the Bamberg General Prosecutor's Office. We also forward reports to the BKA's national contact point and, via the INHOPE network, to the relevant hotline in the user's jurisdiction (in Germany, jugendschutz.net and the eco Beschwerdestelle).
1.5 Compliance with law. Venued complies with all applicable laws relating to the protection of children online, including the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Digital Services Act (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz, DDG), the German Youth Protection Act (Jugendschutzgesetz, JuSchG), the Interstate Treaty on the Protection of Minors in the Media (Jugendmedienschutz-Staatsvertrag, JMStV), and the German Criminal Code (Strafgesetzbuch, in particular §§ 184b and 184c StGB).
