Von Turner bis van Gogh
Das Gebäude der Neuen Pinakothek wird nach vier Jahrzehnten Museums- und Ausstellungsbetrieb grundlegend saniert. Das Museum ist deshalb für mehrere Jahre geschlossen. Während dieser Zeit sind ausgewählte Hauptwerke der Malerei und Skulptur des 19. Jahrhunderts in der Alten Pinakothek und in der Sammlung Schack ausgestellt. Die Auswahl spannt den Bogen vom Klassizismus und der Romantik bis zur beginnenden Moderne.
