A lively market vendor sells all kinds of words from her colorful stall: small words, sweet words, polite words – but also those that can hurt, and those that offer comfort. However, on this market day, nothing is as usual. The day before, a thief stole precisely the words that are particularly important for people to live together well. The merchant can neither show nor speak – let alone sell – them. This performance is a playful exploration of language and its power.
