Galina Breitkreuz's film tells the story of Slavka Adžović, the only female shepherd in Montenegro who cares for 170 sheep and goats. Though she never learned to read or write, her love for her animals guided her path as a farmer. Her farm, situated on the windswept Krnovo plateau, also includes four calves and 14 cows whose milk she sells. The film uses striking imagery to portray a self-determined life navigating tradition and modernity.
